Rackspace Managed Hosting-Data & Power Connections has installed various types of Category 5e, Category 6, Category 6A and fiber optics in several data center locations throughout Northern VA for Rackspace. Data & Power Connections provided one point of contact for all aspects of the telecommunications cabling infrastructure project. Rack installations, server installation, cable management, power cords and power protection.
US Secret Service-Project where Data & Power Connections installed a new fiber optic outside plant backbone cable to connect multiple buildings in a campus type environment. Data & Power Connections has perfomerd numerious Category 5e, Category 6 copper workstation connections, fiber backbone connections and copper backbone connections in various locations in the DC Metro areas. Data & Power Connections provided demolition and running of new voice, data and fiber optic cabling at this secure location. Data & Power also ran all conduit, junction boxes, etc to facilitate this project. This project had to be performed within a 30 day period and the cutover of all communications done over one weekend with minimal disruption to this agency.
